Programme Area Manager. Hair and Beauty. Full Time. 37 hours per week. Permanent.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Hair and Beauty Curriculum Area for an enthusiastic Programme Area Manager for Hairdressing, Beauty and Media Make-up. Within this role you will drive forward the Programme Area, introduce innovative ways of working, be creative and dynamic and be able to motivate and inspire the team to deliver outstanding results.
You will support the Director of Creative and Performing Arts, Hair and Beauty in the strategic development and management of learning programmes and other curriculum developments such as full cost and adult provision. You need to be passionate about teaching and learning, have a strong track record of effective performance management and quality improvement and have the ability to plan the curriculum effectively to ensure challenging targets are achieved. You will possess excellent leadership and communication skills and be responsive, yet calm in a challenging educational environment.
You must hold:
As an outstanding teacher you will have strong leadership skills and be willing and able to execute change within the area. The ability to manage data systems and processes are also essential for this post. You should be able to demonstrate a good understanding of quality assurance and data management and will have a background and substantial experience of working within either the hair, beauty or media make-up sector.
